HongKong - Day by Day (Part 3) 2:03 AM

Today, Jean and me, together with Ken, Andre, Charles, Eric and Gary...headed down to Macau. They are there to gamble but me and Jean, we are heading to some historic sites there. Jean is there, more for the food - Portuguese Eggtart.

We took at 12noon ferry and reached abt an hour's time. The weather there is colder than in HongKong, probably is b/c Macau is nearer to the coast and there isn't much high-rise bldgs to block off the chilly winds.

Both of us accomplished our missions for going to Macau and set off to take a peep at Venetian. Venetian is one of the casinos in Macau and they have the biggest IR around the world. And the biggest IR...is in Macau. Venetian looked like a castle from the outside. It is super duper big!! Especially the casino area, it is as big as ..... i have no idea, jus know that if i m standing at one end of the casino, i cannot see the other end of it. They got a thematic shopping area, just like the one that they have in Las Vegas. Interesting place.

We headed back to HK at 6pm as we wanted to catch 'A Symphony of Lights' which will be held at Victoria Harbour, at 8pm. We rushed all the way back but ... quite disappointing.
Acclaimed to be World’s Largest Permanent Light and Sound Show” by Guinness World Records, but it is really nothing fantastic. Maybe b/c having in the events industry for so long, we have seen laser shows that are better, in terms of synchronisation and effects.
