one of my colleagues was not really connected with the clique.. always more of a loner.. quiet.. detached from the crowd.
i have been trying to make this colleague feel better at work, gel with the clique and so on.

At first, we all met difficulties working together...
Detesting to work together, especially when we have to work till the wee hours in the mornings. But as time goes by, we managed to survive each other and working at the wee hours are more fun now.

recently the thought of quitting got stronger especially when an offer that pays much more came along.. i did not take sides, in fact i gave my personal comments on it and left the option open.

Resignation letter got prepared but was still sitting quietly in the drawer..

on Friday... this colleague told mi.. rejected the offer. the dialogue was as follows..

abc: still remember the offer that i told you b4?

me: yeah.. (*prepared to receive the bad news~)

abc: I rejected the offer..

me: huh? Y? (*shocked)

abc: i dunno.. as that when they asked mi to go for the interview, i was feeling weird.

me: weird? y weird? (*puzzled)

abc: maybe you wun believe it but... i dun bear to leave you guys...

me: awwwww... (in my heart, i was all teary already!!) gosh~

Sometimes when you felt all was gone, in actual fact it does - make a difference...
