a drink called Nostalgic 7:39 PM

this was something that had left mi 'speechless yet amused'.
maybe i should not mention the name of the venue but jus on the incident...

We were getting prepared for an event when a service staff bought some 'drinks' to our console...
All puzzled by the appearance of the 'drinks' so, out of curiosity, Clarence asked..

Clarence : Is this for us?
Staff: yes.
Clarence : and who ordered them?
Staff: a gentleman by the name of Charles
Clarence : oh, okie..

Clarence took a sip and gave a face..
As Charles was handling some activities at the Foyer so we cannot get him to give an 'introduction' of the drink to us..

Anyway, maybe i should give some descriptions of the 'drink' (*was busy so no pics taken)

Appearance: imagine Long Island Tea
Taste : bland and non-carbonated
(can detect traits Coca Cola, with hints of F&N Orange)

Halfway thru the show.. when we were less busy, we were chatting and the drink topic was back.. we trying to figure out the drink.. Charles was no where nearby to seek clarifications..

The 'drinks' were like.. neglected, almost all were sipped but non were nearly one-third empty..

Clarence was wondering if the dispenser was out of soda or spolit...?
Joanna was wondering if this is a new drink, or Long Island Tea mocktail..
Andre was wondering if the staff was trying to play punk with us..?
(reckon he got too many enemies outside, awaiting vengeance)
I tot is was some drinks that we used to order during our primary skool days..multiple soft drinks complied into one.. but who would serve/order such drink in such a place!
(I m not sure for all, but i guess the 80's kids would have ordered such a drink b4)

Finally Charles was back and Andre got hold of the chance to ask him.

As a matter of fact, he did placed an order for some soft drinks but was surprised to see the appearance of the drinks that he has ordered..
this is what had happened...

Charles : Can you get us some drinks?
Staff : yes, of course. Wat would you like to have?
Charles: give me about 12 glasses, a mixture of Coke and Orange...

well, you see.. there are 2 ways to look at this boo-boo...

Option 1:
The service staff cracking up in the kitchen, with his/her fellow crews, puzzled by where Charles came from..?

Option 2:
Service staff thinks.. "this is only my part-time job. My real career? A Mixologist."

But on the other hand, dun the service staff feels puzzled for someone to come up with such an order? Or maybe the staff was thinking.. No questions, the guest is ALWAYS right
