CNY Dinner with VOX Group
2:15 AM went CNY dinner with VOX Group last night... (Thu) and this year, we had dinner at Ah Yat Abaloneeeeee Restaurant. we 'gulped' down a 9-course dinner, starting with... Yu Sheng Cold Combination Platter Shark Fin Soup Steamed Prawns (my fav!) Broccoli with Scallops (my fav too!) Fried Fish (Gigantic) Chinese Mushrooms with Dried Abalones Fried Noodles Red Bean Soup reason y we GULPED down the dinner is because Voyage team got to go for a presentation after the dinner and we were late (as usual) for the dinner. Dinner reservation - 6.30pm, ETA - 8pm!! (Rather amazing that the restaurant still got tables for us) anyway, we managed to get the kitchen to serve out all the dishes within 45mins.. before Jo, Gary and Andre rushed off for the presentation. meanwhile the rest of us proceed on with the 2nd part of the 'dinner'. (what is VOX without some 'drinks', rite?) anyway, we headed down to Liquid Gold for some drinks and KTV. Jean came to join us too! Jolene dedicated some korean songs and we had so much fun, especially when we tried to sing and dance to the song 'Sorry Sorry', 'Nobody' and 'Neorago' on the other hand, the time of the year has come for Eric, Ken and Charles to take turns and test my hold for alcohol. "come come, bottoms up!" "lai lai, da da!!" "steady steady, half glass" ya ya, half glass.... Martell on the rocks, can die laaaa steady steady.. my ass! after i cleared my quota with Eric, Charles came along..and then Ken! Eric cannot offer mi any more drinks, nvm... he tried to grab hold of me while Charles pour his 'treat' for me. then Jean bring the whole bottle of Martell to me, asking mi to keep.. and when Ken and Eric found out.. HAHAHA!! "wah lao, y you hide the Martell? aiya, you wanna drink right? come come!" Ken came chasing after me, with the Martell, wanting to pour the Martell direct into my mouth!! i got scary bosses. =S Jean was busy hidding from their 'treats' also (nv come to my rescue!! =_=) super high at one moment of time lor! haha!! Jo, Gary and Andre came and join us after the presentation...so did Frankie. and when Jo came... mi, Jo and Jean did our trademark song with the rest of our girls.. so fun so fun! so long nv had so much fun liaoz.. VOX need more of such gatherings! 0♥ in the cookie jar |
