Working at DC 2006 is.. fun, tiring, boring, lifeless, FRUIT-ful, rubbish, technical, freezing, sinful, eventful.

In short, mixed feelings~

Fun..

because my organiser colleagues from MPI, they can be quite funny at times, apart from the inital stage where all of us are busy dashing around trying to get our things done.. We do not have any conflict among one another. As for the colleagues from PICO, they are very co-operative. We often joked ard. They are willing to teach mi new things, which will benefit mi in the future, one way or another.

Tiring..

because of the long working hours, 7.30am to 10pm... which is very very likely to extend in the next 2 weeks. As DC happen at the same time as the IT fair, Food and Beverage Fair and the upcoming Shin Min competitions.. Getting a cab home is not a easy task.

Boring..

because as long as my office equipments are running smoothly, I m free to laze in the site office or to do watever i want to do.. So sometimes, it can get a bit boring because i got nothing to do.

Lifeless..

because when the diplomats went for their conference or meetings.. it can be so lifeless in the office.. so quiet.. worsen ur mood when u r already feeling borrrreeed.

FRUIT-ful..

because there's fruit for everyone for evey meal.. Our fridgeis now stocked up with fruits. Can open fruit stall soon liao.

Rubbish..

because sometimes we would have so many things to do in a day, sometimes, we would jus sit and rot for the whole day. We can be running errands for the IPOS or WIPO staff when they need something that out PCO office dun have. Doing nonsense.. toking rubbish~

Technical..

because I have to know how to function all the office equipments provided to the conference. Really appalled when i realised some guy jus dunno how to use the fax machine. Cannot make it. I have to make sure all the equipments are up and running. I very zai~ okie.

Freezing..

because the air-conditioning in the Gallery is so cold that it's freezing all the pple working in the Gallery. I even got diplomats joking that they are still alive.. no need to have the temperature so low as if they are using the Gallery as a freezer to store human meat.

Sinful..

because we snack A LOT!! My colleagues are CRAZY over Magnum (both Classico and Almond) moreover now, Carrefour is having a promo of buy one get one free... They all went NUTS abt it. We can have so many snacks in the office.. but all swiped out in juz a matter of days.

Eventful..

because almost everyday, there would be something happening ard the conference premises.. Someone fainted, someone wailing b/c claimed being hit by someone else, very enthu vendor, someone sneaking ard the premises... blah blah blah~

Mixed feelings..

because this would be the last project that i am doing with PICO and MPI. Will be starting work in another company from next month onwards. Actually, I nv tot i would even step back into PICO after my internship coz i was cursing during my internship with PICO. haha!! so funny~ In the end, PICO ended up being the place that i felt most comfortable working in, know the most friends, learnt the most things and got most of my working experience.

I will nv forget my stay with PICO and of course, the colleagues and friends i made during my stay in PICO. Miss all of u guys. Keep in touch eh~
