Singapore 2nd Night Race @ Singapore Flyer
4:24 PM finally! time to blog a'lil about the latest events happening around... September had been a busy month for VOX, or rather the events team. we managed the Loreal Beauty Sale @ Fairmont Hotel and, the Singapore 2nd Night Race @ Singapore Flyer. Loreal Beauty Sale this is the first time i am involved in a beauty sale, there items are really cheap for some and there will be special offers during certain hours to attract shoppers to grab more. mi and my fellow colleagues ended with a bagful of stuffs each. lolx worked thru the weekend and PH and after the 3days of sale, i m so in need of a good massage and lotsa sleep. and wat's worse, i dun get to rest!! Coz SG night race was tailgating behind, the weekend after Loreal Sale. =.= Singapore 2nd Night Race VOX Group was involved in the organising for the activities happening in ZONE 2, that's right.. the entire ZONE 2 aka Singapore Flyer. The core event team has been buzzing around, in preparation, for this event from the very day we got the project. As the event drew nearer, there were events happening at SG Flyer almost every weekend. apart from the events, there were also installations going around Flyer almost every night.. We were so familiar with the premises of Flyer that we had mastered the skill (almost) to walk around the premises with our eyes closed. the most irritating part, which might be the most pleasing to some, of this event was the roaring of the F1 cars. It can be so loud that.. u can really be shouting at the top of your voice to the person standing right next to you and yet the person cannot hear a single thing. Extremely frustrating, especially for those working on the event. You have to keep your msgs, short and precise, and slot them swiftly in between the short intervals of the F1 cars zooming pass. It can be quite a torture at first for those who dun really fancy F1, but by the 3rd day...you jus get immune to the roaring of the engines... enough of F1 for mi.. at least for 2009 =P 0♥ in the cookie jar |
